Around Comic-Con 2012
EDDIE'S TRIP TO COMIC-CON: Please sit back and enjoy my slide show of Comic-Con 2012...next slide please...
A representative from America and the Princess of wherever share a cordial moment.
C'mon guys right on the convention floor?
I have to say off the bat, this is probably the most photographed event I've ever attended. Evidence by this pic.
I tried to get my picture with Community's Joel McHale, but it seemed he had a type when it came to photo ops. I shoulda wore my Wondr Woman brazier.
This jolly fella is the writer of A Tale of Fire and Ice. Those are the books the HBO show Game of Thrones is based on. Awesome show.
Um...the picture says it all. Moving on...
This hairy guy wore no pants and no shirt and somehow it was OK for him, but not me.
One of my favorite creators - Matt Groening. This guy's mind dreamed up The Simpsons.
This guy needs no introduction. Gene Simmions. I had no idea why he was at the Archie Comics booth.
Ooooh, that's why.
This was a plastic dummy in the likeness of Nick Cage. I know. I couldn't tell the difference either.
Michael Biehn. Best known for his roles in Alien and The Terminator.
Orlando Jones. Best known as the 7-Up guy.
Peter Griffin and Brian.
Awesome scary guys.
Patton Oswald. This guy has a great bit on KFC bowls. If you haven't heard the bit, do yourself a favor, search for it on YouTube.
Eddie and Bartman. My favorite superhero.
Man! Oscar is grouchy and now he's taking on the system.
The platform where the gamer TV channel G4 was broadcasting live. I asked if JACK-FM could broadcast up there. They said no. Next time I'll ask more nicely.
I was sold as a toy to a youngster at the show. The kid later asked for his money back.
I think someone from Game of Thrones behead this poor Avatar.
G4 host sizing up some guests for the broadcast.
G4 watchers of Playboy fans will recognize this G4 TV host, Sara Underwood.
I wondered what happened to Bud Bundy.
Some guy from Adult Swim on the cartoon network. I have no idea what his name is.
Here's a couple of kids who got off the couch to go to Comic-Con so they can get on a couch to play video games.
The other two dimensions of South Park.
Outside the convention center.
Weird stuff was going on everywhere.
Yep. This guy was there.
The winter is coming. If you know the show you'll get this. If not, don't worry, it wasn't a very witty comment.
The two headed cop, ahh a classic! (Anyone ever actually heard of this comic?)
I have no idea if that was a him or a her.
A geek in his natural habitat.
Stacks of comicbooks were all over. Kids...read, it's important, or so I'm told.
A cool trinket,a repilica of the iron throne. This could be yours for a paltry $300.
They fed it after midnight. Some people never learn.
This is for us old-schoolers!
Try sleeping with these in the house.
Something for the kids.
This bug sapped the better part of my brain or what was left of it.
Mars Attacks! Who says special effects should cost more than a few bucks.
Lavar Burton from Reading Rainbow...and Star Trek. Kevin Sorbo is in the background.
What Batman worry?
Matt Groening again.
Lifesize Lego versions of Lord of Rings characters. I am not geeky enough to know their names.
There wasn't enough advertising inside.
That damned dirty ape.
Who is scarring who?
The sea of humanity was so great, so was the BO.
This guy cast spells on people. That's all I got.
They look scary , but they didn't hurt anyone. Although they did eat some children, but it probably wasn't painful.
Hasselhoff ran passed me he was probably running toward his car Kit (pictured here).
The piggy looking guy from The Twilight Zone. This bobblehead reminds me of when I first saw this episode. I got the shivers.
T2. Where's Arnold when you need him.
I swear the cast of The Big Bang Theory is behind this crowd signing autographs.
I enjoyed this mural. Yes I did. Yes, I did.
The Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferigno. No, his experience wasn't that sad, he was just setting up when I took this picture.
A Power Ranger.
The Incredible Hulk.
Security was ridiculously tight.
I always thought these characters were life sized.
My early 1900 serious photo.
These adorable characters later crashed into a group of children and slaughtered them all with their cart. Aren't they cute?
Cartoon characters in 3D.
I hope this guy's labor dispute is never settled.
A holy battle was being waged outside. That sobered me up quickly.
Yep that's me infront of The Simpsons posters.
