Jack White is getting a nod of respect from a group of "Rockin' Legends."  A soon-to-be-released album dubbed Rockin' Legends Pay Tribute to Jack White features cover versions of White's songs from the likes of Wanda Jackson, who put her spin on the White Stripe's track "In the Cold, Cold Night."

The Queen of Rockabilly previously worked with White on her 2011 solo effort "The Party Ain't Over."  According to "Rolling Stone," Jackson says she's wanted to cover "Cold, Cold Night" ever since she first heard it, and she hopes White approves of the version she recorded with Shooter Jennings.

Other contributors to the new homage record include Big Jay McNeely, Gary U.S. Bonds, Johnny Powers, Joe Clay, and Sonny Burgess.

Rockin' Legends Pay Tribute to Jack White is due out this coming Tuesday, November 19th.
