Hatred for work may be literally killing you. TIME Magazine says being miserable at work makes people fat and cranky while shaving years off their lives.
Work stress is often reflected in employee waistlines after substantial rounds of layoffs. Employees who go home and crash in front of the TV increase their odds of being obese by almost 80-percent.
Major downsizing can also double the risk of having a fatal heart attack.
People who report low satisfaction with their jobs also have a lower perception of personal health. In a survey, more than half of Americans said they feel "constantly" overworked.
