Roseville Joins Sacramento and Folsom in Voluntary Water Conservation

The city of Roseville has joined Sacramento and Folsom in asking residents to monitor their water use because of the historically low levels at Folsom Lake.

Officials are asking homeowners to cut back on landscape watering by only turning on the sprinklers when plants become stressed and report any waste at (916) 774-5761 or www.roseville.ca.us/waterwaste.

The city also has a program in place where you can monitor your home's usage online and compare it to that of your neighbors.

"We have a unique program called Water Insight and folks can sign up for that and they can actually monitor their water use online," said Spokesman Brian Jacobson.

Roseville residents can sign up at www.roseville.waterinsight.com
