Roseville Crime Stoppers Offer Reward For Info on Murdered Teen

A $1,000 dollar reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the murder of a 19-year-old man whose body was found in a Roseville Park.

Roseville Crime Stoppers is offering up the reward in the mysterious death of 19-year-old John Alpert.  His body was found in Dry Creek near Atkinson Street on May 15th by a fisherman.

Police said Alpert appeared to suffer blunt force trauma.  His death was ruled a homicide.

Alpert lived in Palmdale in Southern California with his parents and attended community college there.  On March 10th, he told them he was traveling north with some friends for an adventure traveling on freight trains.

On March 17, all communications between Alpert and his family stopped.

Anyone with any information is being asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers.
