Officer Fired for Restraining, Cutting Hair of Suspect

A Michigan police officer is out of a job - for cutting the hair of a suspect she had in custody. Investigators say Warren Police officer Bernadette Najor arrested Charda Gregory for allegedly damaging a hotel room and a police car after her arrest. A confrontation between the two women caught on video shows the officer cutting Gregory's hair weave while she was restrained. Najor says it was to reduce the risk of suicide. Charges against the suspect were later dropped -- and the officer was fired this week.
