As the flu continues to spread in Sacramento County, it's become deadly.
The Sacramento County Health Departement says emergency rooms have been filling up with flu cases,
"There are 16 cases in the intensive care units," said Kat McAuley.
McAuley continued to say that there have been three flu-related deaths in Sacramento County with three more in Stanislaus County. The H1N1 strain is responsible for one or possibly two deaths,
"...otherwise healthy people are contracting the H1N1."
That is why doctors are emphatically recommending you get vaccinated. The H1N1 strain has been included in most vaccines for three years now.
