American Red Cross Tax Donations Hit $80K

The American Red Cross Capital Region and Assemblymember Dr. Richard Pan are urging Californians to check the voluntary contribution box on the state income tax form.

The funds donated by California taxpayers will support Red Cross disaster relief services in the state.

Last year in California, the Red Cross responded to more than 4,000 local emergencies, with more than 550 of those responses in the Capital region.

So far this year, $80,000 has been raised for the Red Cross from contributions to state income tax forms.
