He's eluded authorities for nearly six years, and now the second suspect in a murder that shocked the Sikh community is being brought to justice.
The shooting took place a sports festival in 2008 and while spectators were able to hold one of the suspects for authorities, the second was able to get away and even flee the country.
A poster of 28-year-old Amandeep Singh Dhami was added to the Sacramento FBI’s website soon after the shooting. However, his whereabouts were unknown.
Recently, that poster was translated to punjabi and was redistributed internationally and that led authorities to Dhami in the Punjab province of India living under another identity. He was arrested and authorities are working on bringing him back to Sacramento to face charges in the murder of Parmjit Pamma Singh.
