SACRAMENTO -- A rally in support of Trayvon Martin will take place tomorrow at Sacramento's Federal Court House at 502 I Street.
The gathering is being organized by the National Action Network to call for a federal civil rights case to be opened against George Zimmerman.
The organizers are calling on participants to observe non-violence during the rally, which will include rememberances, a ceremony honoring Martin, speakers and unity circles.
Among those slated to appear are Kevin Carter of Occupy Sacramento, Suzanne Brooks of International Association for Women of Color Day, Kakwasi Somadhi of Black United Fund of Sacramento Valley, and Rev. Joy Johnson, pastor of Higher Hopes Christian Church.
