SF Sculpture Controversy

Some locals are already calling for the removal of a new art exhibit in San Francisco that doesn't even officially debut until Wednesday. Protesters claim the eight giant structures at Crissy Field are taking away from the natural beauty of the area and are blocking Golden Gate Bridge views. The 50-foot-tall steel pieces are the work of Mark Di Suvero, who's loaning the structures to The City to display for one year. An online petition, which urges officials to remove the hunks of metal, is gaining momentum at change.org.
