BART Union Workers May Go On Strike

There's still no settlement in sight for the BART system and unions representing its workers. On Monday, two of the largest unions sued the transit system, claiming BART officials are not negotiating in good faith. The issues in the contract dispute include wages, benefits and worker safety. There are reports the union workers may vote this week on whether to authorize a strike. The current contract is set to expire on Sunday.
